Experience winter together in the Steinplatte Winklmoosalm ski area

From a first day on skis to more challenging runs: At Steinplatte Winklmoosalm, families and winter sports enthusiasts will find slopes for different ability levels, as well as snowpark action and winter experiences without skis at Triassic Park. Families can enjoy a varied day on the mountain, with runs to share and activities for different interests.

The family ski resort in the tri-border area of Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria is vignette-free and accessible via Waidring and Reit im Winkl, and can be accessed through ticket networks such as the 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena, SuperSkiCard and Tirol Snow Card.

There are wonderful winter activities for families away from the slopes, too. At Triassic Park, children aged three and over can take part in the flexibly bookable childcare service. The approximately one-kilometre-long winter hiking trail leads past life-size dinosaurs to the stalactite cave and the viewing platform.

At Snowpark Steinplatte, you’ll find different lines over 1.5 kilometres, with 50 features for all ability levels – from Fun and Easy to Medium and Pro. The Triassic Funline adds variety to the slopes with waves, banked turns, tunnels and other playful features.

The Winklmoosalm in Reit im Winkl and the Triassic Kinderland at Hausberg in Waidring are suitable places to get started with skiing. Panorama viewpoints and cosy mountain huts are perfect for a break.
