Viewing platform and panoramic shell in winter

The free-floating viewing platform along the winter hiking trail offers spectacular views down to the valley and breathtaking vistas even in winter, while the Panorama Shell with its pleasant wooden atmosphere and views of the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbühler Horn invites you to linger.

Viewing platform

It has the shape of a fan coral and floats almost 70 m above the abyss - a detour to our viewing platform is always worthwhile - even in winter: The fantastic, almost 1 km long winter hiking trail leads from the mountain station of the Steinplatte gondola lift to the Kammerkör mountain inn, past the service station Steinplatte ski service station and through the middle of the snow-covered Triassic Park, where, with a bit of luck, you might even spot a few of the life-size dinosaurs under the blanket of snow.

Weak nerves?

No problem! The varying floor conditions on the viewing platform ensure that even those who are not entirely free from vertigo can venture out without any problems.

The branches of the coral are completely opaque, giving the impression of solid ground.

The more daring, on the other hand, can walk across the coarse-meshed grating and perhaps even risk a glance through the transparent glass surfaces.

This is guaranteed to send your adrenaline levels soaring: to 1,600 metres to be precise...

Panorama shell

Our Panorama Shell is a relaxation area in the shape of a shell and offers a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape, such as the Wilder Kaiser or the Kitzbühler Horn.

Constructed from larch wood, the Panorama Shell promises a relaxing experience for visitors of all ages - a nature cinema experience to remember.

Access to the Panorama Shell is only possible in suitable snow conditions.
