Winter hiking trail | Triassic Trail
For those who don't ski, a beautiful winter hiking trail approximately 1 km long leads directly from the Steinplatte gondola lift mountain station to the Kammerkör mountain restaurant and then past the Steinplatte service station through the snow-covered Triassic Park. With a little luck, you may even spot some of our life-size dinosaurs under the snow cover.
- A wonderful winter hiking trail for non-skiers
- No prior knowledge or special equipment required
- Incredible panoramic views
- Exciting for young and old
Winter hiking for everyone!
Winter hiking with panoramic views – highlights along the Triassic Trail
It is also a real highlight in winter: the spectacular, free-floating viewing platform along the winter hiking trail offers unparalleled views down into the snow-covered rocky landscape. Just a few steps away, the Panoramic Shell – inspired by the shape of a fan coral – invites you to linger and marvel at its curved wooden architecture and breathtaking views of the Wilder Kaiser and Kitzbüheler Horn mountains.
Along the way, you can discover the stalactite cave and, if you're lucky, you might even see some of our dinosaurs. Have fun!
