Covid 19 actions

for the winter season 2021/22

Please have the 2G proof and your ID ready when buying your ski pass at the ticket office. Further controls are not carried out here or on the Steinplatte. Further information on entry requirements is available from the Tirol Tourist Board or the Federal Ministry (AT) or the Foreign Office (DE). We ask for your understanding!

Please note the following when you visit us:

General

Since Monday 08.11.2021, the 2G rule (vaccinated, recovered) applies to leisure facilities in Austria.

* For persons from 12 years of age, a 2G certificate is required
* For school-age children from 12 years up to completion of the 9th grade, the Ninja Pass is valid as proof.
This is also valid on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Verification of the 2G proof & activation of the ticket

1. Web portal Safe2Ski
Click here to go to the online portal. You will need a valid ticket and a digital 2G proof.
(What happens in the background of the online portal?
On the online portal Safe2Ski Check-in you can link your valid COVID certificate with your lift ticket (keycard). If you click on "Agree", your lift ticket (keycard) remains linked according to the validity period of your certificate. If you click on "Reject", your lift ticket is only linked to your valid COVID certificate for today.)

2. ticket office
The ticket can also be activated directly at the ski pass cash desks.
Prerequisite: 2G proof. Yellow vaccination card: If you do not have a QR code on your valid COVID certificate, please contact our staff at the ticket offices directly. They can manually link the proof in your vaccination card with your lift ticket.

3. door.gate terminal
This is located near the readers in Waidring and Seegatterl/Reit im Winkl.
All you need here is the card and the QR code. It's quick and easy!

Please have your 2G proof ready for possible checks at all times during your stay in the ski area.



Lifts and cable cars

There is no capacity limit on closed cable car cabins. The regulation that in closed or coverable means of transport at most so many persons may be transported at the same time that half of the transport capacity of the means of transport is not exceeded, does not apply if exclusively persons from the same household are transported. It is up to you to decide whether you want to board a cabin that already has people in it. Please always observe the minimum distance of two meters from other persons.

Hygiene

All gondolas as well as the indoor areas of the cable cars are regularly disinfected with cold foggers as well as ventilated. Please use the disinfectant dispensers, which are sufficiently available in the ski area. Refrain from handshaking and hugging and wash your hands regularly with soap. Observe the general hygiene rules as well as the sneezing and coughing etiquette.

Lift tickets

Lift tickets are available at the ticket offices of the gondola lifts in Waidring and Reit im Winkl / Seegatterl, 2G proof is required for persons aged 12 and over, there is no need to pre-book tickets. Please use the possibility of cashless payment.

Refunds

We expressly point out that due to the worldwide COVID 19 pandemic, individual closures or closures ordered by the authorities (of individual cable car facilities, individual members of the "3 Länder Freizeit Arena" ski pool, etc.), individual border closures or travel warnings may occur again at any time. In these or comparable cases, there is also no entitlement to a refund or extension of season or annual tickets.

However, should there be a (renewed) official and permanent closure, border closure or travel warning during the winter season 2021/2022, which affects all operations of the members of the ski pool "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena", the customer can apply for a partial refund of the purchase price of a season or annual ticket under the following conditions:

Should the customer have used the season or annual ticket on less than 10 ski days by this time, he/she will receive a refund of 1/10 (one tenth) of the purchase price of the season or annual ticket per ski day for each ski day not used (up to this upper limit of 10 ski days).

Example: The user has purchased a winter season ticket for EUR 595.00 and used it on 6 ski days before a closure, etc., therefore he/she receives a pro rata refund for the missing 4 ski days at EUR 59.50 each, i.e. a total of EUR 238.00.

From 10 ski days onwards, the season or annual ticket is considered to be fully used and no pro rata refund can be claimed.

It is expressly stated that no (pro rata) refund can be claimed if the partners of the "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" are willing to provide services but the user does not make use of these services due to personal considerations/decisions; if, for example, official measures are ordered for the use of the services of the partners of the "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" (e.g. obligation to present a negative test certificate, proof of vaccination, etc.) and the user is unable or unwilling to provide this proof, no claim for a (proportional) refund can be asserted.

It is noted that compliance with the respective officially prescribed COVID-19 or other protective measures to contain a pandemic is the sole responsibility of the user. Should the user be unable or unwilling to comply with officially prescribed measures, his carriage may not take place and no claim for a (pro rata) refund may be asserted.

Requests for refunds may - in the aforementioned cases - be submitted in writing to the respective member of the "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" ski pool from which the season or annual ticket was purchased within four weeks of the end of the 2021-22 winter season. After expiry of this deadline, this entitlement to this refund expires.
